A pair of students in Arizona will have plenty of time to think about their actions against Border Patrol agents now that the teens are under arrest.
The students verbally and vehemently harassed Border Patrol agents who had come to the University of Arizona to speak with criminal justice majors.
The agents were actually giving a lecture to a classroom of students when protestors overtook the classroom, shouting “murder patrol” while likening the agents to members of the Klu Klux Klan.
Some of the students comments were captured on video. In one instance a student can be heard saying, “I don’t know who allowed the murder patrol. They allow murderers to be on campus where I pay to be here. Murderers! On campus. Murderers on campus!”
Now however, in what the students probably hoped was an April Fool’s joke, the offending students have been arrested and charged for their actions according to the Arizona Republic.
Currently the students names have not been released, but they both could face up to six months in jail for their actions.
