Rudy Giuliani, who presently serves as President Donald Trump’s attorney, is calling for the investigation of Joe Biden and the need is urgent.
Biden has been under heavy scrutiny after remarks he made during a speech to the Council on Foreign Relations started to circulate.
“I was supposed to announce that there was another billion-dollar loan guarantee. And I had gotten a commitment from [Ukrainian President Petro] Poroshenko and from [Prime Minister Arseniy] Yatsenyuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor. And they didn’t. […] I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a b***h. He got fired,” Biden recounted.
While that may not seem like a problem on its own, the underlying issue is that the prosecutor Biden got fired, was investigating Burisma Holdings, a company that Biden’s son Hunter was working under.
This very curious detail has led Giuliani to call for an investigation into the matter, questioning how far the corruption goes.
Giuliani is correct in encouraging haste in the matter, as this is certainly something that should be clarified before Biden is allowed to run for the presidency of the United States.
