Sean Spicer already has a new job

Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer already has a brand new job, just two weeks after he resigned his White House post, the New York Post reported.

Spicer resigned as President Donald Trump’s press secretary on July 21, after having the job for just six months. A number of media outlets reported that Spicer resigned over the president’s decision to tap Anthony Scaramucci to be White House communications director, a role Scaramucci held for just 10 days.

Spicer said that he resigned to “give the president and new team a clean slate,” CNN reported.

Following his resignation, Spicer met with NBC, CBS, and Fox News, presumably about potential new roles at each of those networks.

ABC also offered Spicer a slot on “Dancing With the Stars,” which he ultimately turned down.

Now, just two weeks after Spicer’s resignation, the former White House press secretary has a new job at a prominent Washington, D.C., law firm.

The Post reported that Spicer accepted a position at Williams & Connolly. Attorneys Bob Barnett and Michael O’Connor, both of whom work at the firm, have represented a myriad of politicians and television personalities, such as Fox News’ Neil Cavuto, Brit Hume, and Steve Doocy; NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell, Brian Williams, and Cynthia McFadden; as well as CNN’s Christiane Amanpour.

Perfect job for Spicer. He will be thinking and remembering facts again. The job at the WH was to read what Trump was thinking. That was tough.

  • Nice thing to happen to a truly nice guy. He just wasn’t enough of a pit bull to be President Trump’s spokesman.
