WATCH The Embarrassing Gaffe That Might Have Cost Trump BIG!!

Donald Trump has been trying to take down Ted Cruz’s evangelical supporters in Iowa for the first primary, and he thought he would do it by addressing a large assembly of Christians at Liberty University.

But when he made this embarrassing gaffe, it might have exposed his real beliefs!!

Watch below:

Now if you didn’t notice it, Trump tried to quote the Bible, but he said it in a way that no Christian ever says it.

He said “two Corinthians” instead of “second Corinthians,” which nearly everyone says because it is the second letter of Paul to the church at Corinth.

If you watch again, you might hear the audience laugh uncomfortably at him, knowing the mistake he made.

Is it a big deal? Not really… but for a guy who’s trying to convince us that he’s really Christian, well, it puts some doubt in our minds.

What do you think? Did the Donald screw this up or was it just an accident? Let us know what you think in the comments section below!

  • Effenexes

Black Widow Republicans continue to eat their own. This is old news and as far as the average American, two and second, are synonymous. The far right die hard Republicrats didn’t even care to consider the point he was trying to make regardless whether the two or second Corinthians made by Paul had validity.

  • Frick

Think long and hard before you vote for Trump.

  • Growling Bear

I just checked several “renditions” of the Bible including the KJV and that book Trump referred to does not say 2nd Corinthians, It says “2 Corinthians” So, HE WAS CORRECT. What’s all this brouhaha about? Read your Bible people and critics who are so quick to find fault but you need to remove the moat in your own eye before trying to remove the speck in someone else’s. What all people say does not make it correct. If you want to criticize, check your facts.

    • The Redman

Hey, nutty bear. when people start 2 school as children, they don’t say 1 grade and den 2 grade. its 1st and 2nd grade. “the smartest thing a fool can do is out smart himself.”, huh..–The Redman

      • Growling Bear

Hey IDIOT look at your report card. It does not say 1st, 2nd, etc. It says 1 grade, 2 grade etc. Look at you Bible and read , Take the moat out of you own eye. lost soul. It says 2 not 2nd. Just because Idiot Pastors and you says 2nd does nor make it right.

        • Growling Bear

and people don’t start 2 school, they start to school.

          • The Redman

          • Growling Bear

How many years did it take for the school system to push you out of grade 2 because you were so big and old you kept breaking those little grade 2 chairs when you tried to sit down?

          • Growling Bear

You don’t know when to shut up do you? “U R A hater-tick”? So childish a response. There is an old saying that applies to you. It is better to be thought a fool then open yourself up and show the world the proof of it (paraphrased). Everytime you respond you show your lack of intelligence, ignorance, and foolishness. I am really happy that you have given me this opportunity to show the world how foolish you are.

          • The Redman

Yep. cave dweller. every time U respond U show yo many colors. hahahahahahha

          • Roberto Enrique Benitez

You’ll also find Redman’s schtick is puerile name calling, As you’ll also notice, he like to laugh like a hyena due to his mental illness.

          • Growling Bear

“due to his mental illness.” I think you hit on the head.

        • ron buice

GB, you are calling 99% of American Christians wrongand Donald Trump right?? Go back to hibernating.

          • Pamela

Because he is right Ron. Open your little bible. It says II Corinthians, NOT 2ND Corinthians. So that means 99% of you are wrong. Go figure, the Lord said the road is narrow and few are them that find it!!!

          • Roberto Enrique Benitez

Pamela, are you really going to say a person isn’t saved if they say Second Corinthians?

What if we were to pray to the Holy Spirit in the name God in the power of Jesus, rather then to God in the name of Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit, Does that invalidate one’s salvation?

How about the controversy some denominations raise about the words said at baptism?

Are we going to be that legalistic? By the way, what is the proof of being a Christian? Is it finding fault in our fellow brethren or something else?

          • Pamela

That’s not what I said or what I meant. What I was saying is that everyone is JUDGING Trump for saying II Corinthians. They say that in many Countries and either can be correct, so it was an answer of irritation and probably could have been answered better on my part, but tired of so many attacking Trump on every little thing and attacking Cruz on eligibility and yet neither of Rubio’s parents were born here and not a word,,,,,,,,,,hmmmmm.

          • Roberto Enrique Benitez

Rubio was born in the US to parents who were here legally, thus according to current US law he’s eligible. Many object saying that neither of his parents were US citizens at the time he was born.

That’s why I believe we need an Amendment to explicitly define NBC status.

          • Pamela

About your question on how things are worded. No, it does not devaluate it, and neither does saying II Corinthians.

          • Roberto Enrique Benitez

            Thank you for that reply.

          • Growling Bear

Sorry, I need to gently correct what you said by being Bibleistic (Word of God) (The Pharisees were more concerned in legalistic than the Word of God and you can read what Jesus said about them). We pray through Jesus the Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, for He said no man (person) cometh unto the Father but by Me. We don’t pray TO the Holy Spirit, we pray to God (Yahweh our Elohim and Adonai) our Creator Father. I’m hoping that was just a typo on your part. II Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, 2nd Corinthians is a moot point, I am surprised that Bible students even brought this up. None of those matter as long as you know and heed what’s contained in those books and the rest of the Bible

          • Roberto Enrique Benitez

I agree. If you reread my comment you’ll see I asked WHAT IF we did it all wrong? Does that invalidate our salvation as I thought Pamela implied? I believe like you in the order we pray. We pray to God the Father in the Name of God the Son through the power of God the Holy Spirit. I think the Lord’s prayer is a good guide.

While I believe it’s important to pray in the correct manner, I don’t believe God condemns us for making a mistake. However, I believe He’ll find a way, perhaps through a brother or sister in Christ, to correct us in love and concern so that we become more effective for Him. Thus if I make an honest mistake in worshiping Him, I trust that He’ll correct me and that I needn’t fear Him in a negative manner.

          • Growling Bear

May our Creator Father richly bless you for seeking Him while He still may be found before the end comes and the Gates of living with Him through eternity close.

          • The Redman

Yep. yo “road is narrow” as 4 wisdom of the bible.

          • ron buice

It’s OK’ Pam. I forgive you for that comment. Your snactimonious attitude is a large part of the reason so many people do not attend church and try to follow Christ’s teachings. 99% of Christians are not wrong. We have all read the Bible and it is our way of referring to the chpter in the Bible. So pray that your admonitions do not further discourage more people from discussing God’s words. I used to have a friend who spend much of his converstaions “correcting” his friends but after a while he didn’thave any. If you opened your earsand eyes you would see the phoniness of trumps attempt to make himself appear to know something about the message his writers has printed on his cue cards. This is a very telling moment for those of us who have been considering him for our leader. No more. Get your head where it should be, By the way, I have on my desk, a LARGE gilded 8’x12″ HOLY BIBLE which passed to me from my mother who always referred to II Corinthians as “SECOND” Corinthians as did every pastor I listened to in the Christian Church for over 70 years. Why are you excusing an obvious pandering of a presidential candidate? That should be your concern. You’re simply missing the point. God bless you anyway.

          • Growling Bear

“8’x12″ HOLY BIBLE” (equates to 8 feet x 1 foot) Your mother must have been really strong. I hope you did not get a hernia carrying it around. Long and narrow is the way and few there be that can carry it. LOL

          • ron buice

When you appear to be a fool, why continues sending out more foolish comments and removing all doubt. Moron!

          • Growling Bear

So, if that’s true, why do you keep sending out replies? it’s so hard to resist putting down half-wits when you are as gullible as you.

          • Growling Bear

RB it’s time for you to wake up, take your head out of the sand, and smell the state of this country. I predict this election run is fruitless. The Obama-nation is going declare Martial law in January 2017 just before the inauguration so he can stay in office 5 more years. Then all “Hell” will break loose.

          • The Redman

“Hell broke loose” when white-folks cane ashore long ago. turd-whacker bear. hahahahaha

          • ron buice

GB I agree with you assessment of the conditions here and have begun the liquidation of all US assets and am arranging to relocate to Panama where it’s Corinthians Segundo. Hope it works out for you guys. I have tried to advise my family and neighbors about where Obama is going to (and has) taken this great country but mine is a voice “crying in the wilderness”, including on the internet sites like this. What a waste, especially for those who lost their father in the war (WWII) and served in the military ourselves. Unfortunately, it seems that the “tolerance”and contrived guilt of whites by minorities has brought us down. I’ll watch from afar to see how it works out. Good luck!

          • PsykoKlown

I suspect you may be right, except for the 5 year part.

        • PsykoKlown

Actually, I think this is one of the VERY few things I’ve ever seen redman get right (even with atrocious writing “style”).
We all know that that that part of the speech was written for Trump. He’s a Methodist, so well, you know…probably not the most well-versed Biblically.

          • Scott Todd

            I think he said Presbyterian.

          • PsykoKlown

            You’re right, I was mistaken.

    • ron buice

Not only did he misquotesomething he should have know as an American Christian, he stammered on the verse and had to refer to the correct wording of a simple sentence that ever Christian knows. Growling Bear is apologizing for a miscreant who is doing his best to fake religion. For shame!

  • The Redman

white-folks have ruined America. 98% of em R satanic haters of other people even their own children. else Y do so many of them rape their own Lil family members.

  • adrianvance

What BS! “Two” and “Second” mean the same thing and “Two” is actually more accurate in terms of the language! Trump was only showing that he is an educated man! Sober up!

Google “Two Second Conservative” for clarity.

    • ron buice

      Meatsack!!

  • Texas Son

2 or 2nd…they both mean the same thing. Just a matter of semantics. Also, different churches use different terms, e.g., sermon vs. homily. Mr. Trump’s mother is originally from Scotland. I have lived in the United Kingdom, and I know many of their terms/phrases there are different from the terms/phrases here, e.g. rubbish vs. trash, ring vs. call, etc.

  • duncan mckean

having a personal relationship with our father in heaven and his son with the holy spirit ? it is a deeply personal thing.i cannot experience you experiencing yourself.this is the syntax of the meaning.this is why bible thumpers make real christians look silly and stupid.you don’t have to be a scholar to have the language of the heart and faith in your soul…grow up! not about trump its about representing your faith.christianity is a profoundly advanced paradigm that few really follow .it is intrenched in the heart .imo

  • Original Anna

Our church says 1 Corinthians and 2 Corinthians because that is what the numbers are, in numbers not spelled out first and second.

  • frantantoni

Clueless media reporters. Their heads are in a tussle because they cannot control Trump OR the will of the American people. The REAL American people.
