Singer Joy Villa made waves once again when she attended the 2019 Grammys.
The singer has previously used celebrity events to endorse President Trump with outrageous and eye-catching fashion choices.
This year was no different as Villa attended the awards show in a dress that was styled after Trump’s vision for a wall at the southern border.
At first the dress appeared to be a metallic silver ode to the Statue of Liberty. However Villa quickly shed the outer sheen for a design that resembled a brick and mortar wall underneath complete with a faux razor wire collar. The back of the dress sported the phrase “build that wall.”
“This is the wall,” said Villa while holding her “Make America Great Again” purse. “I believe in building a wall to protect our southern border, not to keep people out but to protect citizens of our country.”
While of course there were those who didn’t support the outfit, Villa blasted them on her Twitter while defending America’s need to secure the border.
