As President Donald Trump prepares to deliver the State of the Union address, he and First Lady Melania are making a very special guest list.
It is traditional for the president to invite notable figures and this year one of the people receiving that honor will be a sixth grade boy.
Joshua lives in Delaware and has been made the target of repeated bullying, because his last name is also Trump.
The bullying became so incessant that his parents have even moved him to different schools and teachers avoid using his last name, but the teasing is still relentless.
The boy has even considered having his last name changed as a solution.
It’s looking like President Trump, along with First Lady Melania and her “Be Best” initiative are hoping that being invited to a prestigious White House event will help young Joshua see that he’s special and his perseverance deserves rewarding.
