People Want Fox News Host Fired Over A Tweet

Fox News anchor Lou Dobbs got into a lot of hot water and it was over one little tweet. Here’s how people reacted:

So what did he do? It’s called “doxxing” and basically it’s when someone finds personal information of someone they dislike, and they post it on social media so that people can harass them. And he did it of one of Trump’s sexual harassment accusers!

He deleted it eventually and apologized:

In the link he posted was personal information that could be used to harass one of the accusers – after she said she had been harassed by Trump!!

Here’s more:

Fox Business Network anchor Lou Dobbs publicized the address and phone number of Jessica Leeds, one of the women who accused Donald Trump of groping her, to his 792,000 followers on Thursday morning.

Dobbs linked to a post from a conservative news site that purported to link Leeds to the Clinton Foundation. The site published Leeds’ address and phone number — taken from public records — and then claimed, falsely, that her phone number is the same as a phone number for the Clinton Foundation.

He also quoted a tweet from a Trump supporter, which has since been deleted, that included Leeds’ phone number and address.

Dobbs’ tweet has been retweeted more than 800 times.

This is completely irresponsible behavior by a Fox News host, but he’ll probably get away with it. But should he?
